San Vito Lo Capo

Famous seaside resort of Sicily, known for its beach, considered among the best in Italy, and for the westernmost part of the Zingaro Reserve. The Sanctuary, an ancient fortress that has undergone numerous building interventions over the centuries, is the nucleus around which San Vito Lo Capo was born. Since 1998, the town in September is the set of “Cous Cous Fest”, an international exhibition of Mediterranean cultures, food and wines: during the festival, in addition to live musical performances, an international gastronomic competition about cous-cous among chefs coming from different parts of the world, proposing the typical dish cooked according to their own gastronomic traditions.
